It’s a small act that can go a long way for a family that’s grieving. Most of these letters are obviously going to be kept private, but one of them has been shared on social media.Sam Casey shared a letter written to his family by Ohio State star defensive lineman Nick Bosa. The letter was about how thankful Bosa is for men and women like Nicholas Casey who put their lives on the line to protect others.“If this isn’t the coolest thing ever,” tweeted Sam.The full letter can be seen below:If this isn’t the coolest thing ever pic.twitter.com/3BhDUUSh8p— Sam Casey (@SamEC37) June 2, 2018Well done, Nick.last_img read more

Here’s Where ESPN Ranks Clemson’s ‘Future Offense’

first_imgtrevor lawrence celebrates during the national title gameSANTA CLARA, CA – JANUARY 07: Trevor Lawrence #16 of the Clemson Tigers celebrates his seventy-four yard touchdown throw during the third quarter against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the CFP National Championship presented by AT&T at Levi’s Stadium on January 7, 2019 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Harry How/Getty Images)Over the past few years, the Clemson Tigers have produced a plethora of great prospects on the defensive side of the football. While that trend isn’t slowing down at all, it’s time to divert some of that attention toward the offense.Last season, the Tigers won the College Football Playoff behind the marvelous play of Trevor Lawrence. The freshman quarterback is on track to be a first-round pick in the future, which means more experience at Clemson should help his development. In addition to Clemson having Lawrence for this upcoming season, the defending champions will also have Travis Etienne, Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross. Let’s not forget that Dabo Swinney is still coaching this powerhouse program. With the college football season approaching soon enough, ESPN writer Adam Rittenberg ranked the top “future offenses” in the country. After ranking Clemson as the No. 2 future offense last year, Rittenberg has bumped them up to the top spot, thanks to the plethora of talent on the team now, and that Swinney has coming in over the next few years. From ESPN:This was a fairly easy choice, mainly because Trevor Lawrence will lead the unit for two more seasons. Clemson has also established itself as the nation’s premier wide receiver program, and while the legendary Hunter Renfrow departs, standouts such as Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross are back. The Tigers get 1,600-yard rusher Travis Etienne for at least one more season, and Lyn-J Dixon is only a sophomore. Offensive line recruitment and development has steadily improved at Clemson, which loses standout tackle Mitch Hyatt but should be in good shape. Clemson’s overall recruiting on offense is virtually unmatched nationally. It makes sense that Clemson is first in these rankings, especially with its offensive stars back in the fold. The full rankings from Rittenberg can be viewed with an ESPN+ subscription.[ESPN]last_img read more

ESPN Names Notre Dame’s “Best Football Tradition”

first_img Even newer traditions have a way of feeling timeless on Saturdays in South Bend, Indiana. Notre Dame didn’t install its “Play Like A Champion Today” sign in the current location at the exit of its locker room until 1986, but it has since become an iconic pregame image to see the Irish tapping the blue-and-gold placard on their way to the field. — [Dan] MurphyThe tradition started during the Lou Holtz era, and within two years of its introduction, the team won the national championship after beating West Virignia in the Fiesta Bowl.Nowadays, the television broadcast at Notre Dame games will almost always show the players coming out of the locker room, slapping the famous sign before a game.We should expect to see it happen many more times in the years to come.[ESPN] A closeup of a notre dame player's helmet.SOUTH BEND, IN – OCTOBER 07: A member of Notre Dame Fighting Irish holds up his helmet on the opening kickoff during the game against the Stanford Cardinal on October 7, 2006 at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana. (Photo by Andy Lyons/Getty Images)In its 175-plus-year existence, the University of Notre Dame has established many traditions. Naturally, the football team has as well. From their rivalries with USC and Navy to the Leprechaun mascot to the use of real gold flakes in their helmets, the Fighting Irish are not lacking for traditions. On Friday, ESPN revealed its ranking of “the best football tradition for each Top 25 team.” With the No. 6 ranking in the country, Notre Dame’s “Best Football Tradition” was explored as well. While the band playing the 1812 Overture after the third quarter and the Alma Mater after the game stood are good, ESPN selected the slapping of the “Play Like a Champion Today” sign coming out of the locker room – even though the tradition has only existed since the mid-1980s.last_img read more

So unless he can turn things around quickly, he may not have many too many chances to eat the grass. Now, we finally have our answer.According to Nicole Auerbach of The Athletic, Les Miles expressed his surprise and jokingly said that it’s good to “take a nibble” of grass every now and then.“Did he really? It’s Officially Panic Time For Jim Harbaugh At Michigan

first_imgJim Harbaugh on the sideline at Wisconsin.MADISON, WISCONSIN – SEPTEMBER 21: Head coach Jim Harbaugh of the Michigan Wolverines watches action prior to a game against the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium on September 21, 2019 in Madison, Wisconsin. (Photo by Stacy Revere/Getty Images)It’s officially panic time for Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines following today’s brutal loss at Wisconsin. The Wolverines came into the 2019 season with Big Ten championship hopes. ESPN’s Football Power Index named Michigan the favorite in the league. Several pundits predicted Harbaugh’s team to win the Big Ten and make the College Football Playoff. Now, technically, that could still happen. But anyone who predicted Michigan to do anything of substance on a national level this year is looking very, very wrong.Michigan fell to Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium, 35-14, in a game that wasn’t as close as the final score. The Wolverines trailed the Badgers, 28-0, at halftime and were mostly uncompetitive for three quarters. A Michigan team in Year 5 of the Jim Harbaugh era simply can’t lose a game in this fashion. Beating Wisconsin on the road isn’t easy – no Wolverines coach has done it since Lloyd Carr – but you can’t go down like this. So, what now?Panic, basically. Even the most-loyal of Harbaugh defenders seem to be backing off their stances now.“Michigan is a complete disaster. I was certain Harbaugh would be successful there. Same with Chip Kelly at UCLA. Thus far, and likely forever, wrong on both accounts,” Dan Wetzel tweeted.Under Jim Harbaugh, Michigan has never trailed at any point by 21 points in the first half of a game.Overall, Michigan is 0-26 when trailing by 21 points at any point in a game over the last 15 years. pic.twitter.com/jK70FpGMFk— ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) September 21, 2019Michigan fans have predictably been melting down on message boards all afternoon. And, hey, it’s tough to blame them.Michigan fans are not having a good time today. pic.twitter.com/zyUpWHL2NV— Eleven Warriors (@11W) September 21, 2019“It’s almost like … and just hear me out … Jim Harbaugh is an average college coach and Shea Patterson isn’t a game-changer,” Barrett Sallee tweeted. Is it fair to wonder if Harbaugh was ever as good as advertised? Maybe, maybe not.But one thing is certain: the Wolverines just aren’t at a level people expected them to be when Harbaugh took over this program. And at this point, it’s fair to wonder if they’ll ever get there. With today’s loss, Harbaugh falls to 40-15 as Michigan’s head coach.Up next for the Wolverines: a home game against Rutgers. Then: home vs. No. 18 Iowa, at Illinois, at No. 13 Penn State, home vs. No. 7 Notre Dame.Harbaugh needs to rebound from this loss as well as possible, but it’s not going to get much easier.last_img read more

However, the Spaniard failed to connect.Jamshedpur had a chance of their own in the 63rd minute when Robin Gurung found space on the overlap and provided a neat cut-back from the right flank for an unmarked Mario Arques in the centre of the box. The midfielder, however, could not keep his header on target. There were close shaves at both ends as the second half wore on. In the 71st minute, Farukh Choudhary pounced on a failed clearance to swing a teasing cross from the right flank for Arques who struck the ball over the bar with just the goalkeeper to beat.Substitute and debutant Zaid Krouch went close a minute later for Goa. The forward was sent through on goal after a series of neat passes by the hosts in midfield but he sent his shot straight at Jamshedpur custodian Subrata Paul.Corominas took it upon himself in the 84th minute to help Goa find a late winner. The striker skipped past a couple of challenges inside the box before getting a shot away but Subrata showed a strong pair of hands to keep it out.The Jamshedpur custodian was at it again late on to brilliantly keep out Brandon’s close-range effort from Manvir Singh’s low cross. However, there would be no winner on the night despite Goa laying siege to the Jamshedpur goal towards the end. Also Watch:For sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports. IPL 2019: Pitch invader tries to hug Virat Kohli during RCB’s run chase vs KXIP

Therefore, it was no surprise when a fan invaded the pitch during Royal Challengers Bangalore’s run chase against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali and tried to hug the run-machine on Saturday.Virat Kohli had been under pressure before the weekend. He had overseen 7 successive defeats for RCB including 6 in a row this season. However, Virat Kohli led the charge for his team after Chris Gayle’s unbeaten 99 had given Kings XI Punjab 173 for 4.During the course of the innings, a fan stormed onto the pitch to meet Virat Kohli. It was a major security scare and an area of concern the IPL authorities need to address sooner rather than later. The 2019 Indian Premier League has been dogged by controversies.R Ashwin had stirred up a debate when he Mankaded Jos Buttler during Kings XI Punjab’s victory over Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. Opinions were divided in the cricket fraternity and the likes of Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy, Kevin Pietersen, Dale Steyn and Shane Warne had criticised Ashwin harshly.Virat Kohli had then blasted the umpires during a post-match presentation ceremony after one of them failed to spot a clear front-foot no-ball during RCB’s defeat to Mumbai Indians in Bengaluru. In Jaipur, MS Dhoni created a massive controversy when he charged onto the field and got into a fierce argument with the umpires after some confusion over a no-ball for height. MS Dhoni was fined 50 per cent for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct but Virender Sehwag felt he got away too lightly.advertisementSehwag said Dhoni should have been banned for a match or two and the match referee should have set an example. However, the pitch invasion is a major security issue. French Cup final: Kylian Mbappe sent off as PSG stunned by Rennes

We lost our concentration,” he told a news conference after PSG failed to win multiple trophies in a season for the first time since 2012-13.”It’s too soon to assess our season, I need a few days to think about it.”PSG choked in key moments this campaign, knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester United after building a two-goal advantage at Old Trafford and thrashed 5-1 at second-placed Lille on a night they were hoping to seal the Ligue 1 title.FIRST GOALS CONCEDEDPSG made the perfect start when Alves’s volley from 20 metres put them ahead in the 13th minute and Neymar doubled the lead with a fine lob after being played through by Angel Di Maria. But Rennes, 11th in Ligue 1, pulled one back five minutes before the interval when Kimpembe deflected Hamari Traore’s cross into his own net.It was the first goal PSG had conceded in the competition this season and they let in another 21 minutes into the second half when Mexer headed home at the near post from Clement Grenier’s corner.PSG missed several chances through Neymar and Mbappe and Tuchel brought Edinson Cavani on for Julian Draxler in extra time.Eight minutes into extra time, Mbappe collected a through ball from Neymar but his attempt crashed on to the far post, prompting a protest from Cavani who was unmarked in an ideal position to tap in a potential cross.Mbappe was shown a straight red card for stamping on Damien Da Silva’s knee.He was in the locker-room when Nkunku skied his spot-kick over the bar after his team mates, including Neymar, had converted their penalties. Also Read | Messi boosts iconic status at Barcelona with 10th La Liga crownAlso Read | West Ham United inflict first defeat on Tottenham Hotspur at new stadiumAlso See:For sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports. Brooks Koepka survives to win PGA Championship after crowd sense a collapse

first_img Reuters New YorkMay 20, 2019UPDATED: May 20, 2019 11:38 IST Brooks Koepka survived to win the PGA Championship and establish himself as golf’s new top dog (IANS)HIGHLIGHTSBrooks Koepka almost squandered a 7-shot lead in the final roundKoepka captured his 4th major title in his last 8 starts in grand slam eventsDustin Johnson was 2nd, with Americans Jordan Spieth and Patrick Cantlay and Britain’s Matt Wallace tied for 3rdA coronation almost turned into a calamity but Brooks Koepka survived to win the PGA Championship for a second consecutive year on Sunday and establish himself as golf’s new top dog.The American, who had held a seven-stroke lead at the start of the final round, almost lost control of the title when he made four successive bogeys from the 11th hole before staving off Dustin Johnson for a two-stroke victory at Bethpage Black.Koepka shot a four-over-par 74 to finish at eight-under 272 and captured his fourth major title in his last eight starts in grand slam events.Johnson (69) was second on six-under, with Americans Jordan Spieth and Patrick Cantlay and Britain’s Matt Wallace four strokes further back tied for third. What had seemed for much of the tournament to be a coronation almost became a calamity on Sunday, to the delight of most of the raucous New York gallery, who were openly cheering against Koepka as he walked off the 14th green with a tenuous one-stroke lead.He has played with a chip on his shoulder his entire career, and hearing chants in his face of “D.J., D.J.” only served to fire him up as he walked down the steep hill and across Round Swamp Road to the 15th tee at Bethpage Black.Johnson was playing the adjacent 16th hole when the chants went up after Koepka’s mini-collapse.”I wasn’t nervous. I was just in shock at what was going on,” Koepka said. “When they started chanting D.J. on 14, it actually kind of helped.advertisement”That was probably the best thing that could have happened … helped me refocus and hit a good one down 15.”Koepka’s playing companion Harold Varner III, however, was annoyed by the crowd reaction.”I thought it was pretty weird how they were telling Brooks to choke,” Varner said.”That’s not my cup of tea. I was pulling for him after that. I have a few choice words for that. Just cheering for him to do bad, I just don’t get that.”Johnson, however, subsequently bogeyed the 16th after misjudging his approach shot in the strong and gusty winds and the lead was back up to two strokes. In becoming the first champion to lead wire-to-wire since Hal Sutton in 1983, Koepka successfully defended his title and also displaced Johnson as world number one.Koepka, who also won back-to-back U.S. Open titles in 2017-18, admitted his run of bogeys had put him under pressure.”Tell you what, the hour spent from number 11 to 14 was interesting,” Koepka said. “I just got stuck in a bogey train. I just made mistakes at the wrong time.”You’ve got to hit good drives and I put it in the rough. I challenge anyone to play this course in 15-to 20 miles-per-hour winds and see what they shoot.””Today was definitely the most satisfying out of all of them for how stressful that round was, how stressful D.J. made it.”I know for a fact, that was the most excited I’ve ever been in my life … on 18.”Also Read | Tiger Woods double bogey on 1st hole, Brooks Koepka birdiesAlso Read | Tiger Woods sued after employee dies in car crashAlso SeeFor sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports. New Zealand vs Sri Lanka, World Cup 2019 Match 3 Prediction and Probable Playing 11

first_imgNew Zealand vs Sri Lanka, World Cup 2019 Match 3 Prediction and Probable Playing 11As New Zealand take on Sri Lanka for the 3rd match of the World Cup 2019, take a look at the match predictions and probable playing XIs of both the teamsadvertisement India Today Web Desk CardiffJune 1, 2019UPDATED: June 1, 2019 11:52 IST Kane Williamson and Dimuth Karunaratne during practice (Twitter: @cricketworldcup)New Zealand will take inspiration from their 1st warm-up against India when they take on Sri Lanka in their opening match of the ICC World Cup 2019 in Cardiff. Sri Lanka, however, will bank on the experience of veterans Lasith Malinga and Angelo Mathews along with the exuberance of the 2 Kusals – Mendis and Perera to have any hopes of stifling their opponents. The 1996 champions are in dire need of motivation and captain Karunaratne himself has to inspire the unit. The left-hander, who had scored his maiden test hundred against the Black Caps in 2014, could be the glue that holds the Sri Lankan batting together. He will have the support of Malinga who can instil confidence into the team, both with his bowling and experience.Recent form:New Zealand had produced a top-class bowling performance against India but in their next warm-up against West Indies, the Kiwi bowlers were hammered for 421 runs giving them a stern reminder of days to come. The Emerald Islanders, on the other hand, have had a tough stay in England as they lost both their warm-up matches to South Africa and Australia.Match Prediction:In the 2015 World Cup edition, the Black Caps had opened their tournament with a rampant 98-run victory over Sri Lanka and they would once again like to replicate that performance. The Kiwis are certainly favourites to win today’s tie.Probable Playing XIs:Sri Lanka: Dimuth Karunaratne (c), Lahiru Thirimanne, Kusal Mendis (wk), Kusal Perera, Angelo Mathews, Dhananjaya de Silva, Thisara Perera, Jeevan Mendis, Isuru Udana, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan PradeepadvertisementNew Zealand: Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson (c), Ross Taylor, Tom Latham (wk), James Neesham, Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner, Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult, Matt Henry(With IANS inputs)Also See:For sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports. In the match, it’s all about execution and keeping a clear head.”All of that preparation helps me in the matches. If the work ethic is good, then execution becomes much easier.”How do you master the art of bowling yorkersYorker King @Jaspritbumrah93 has the answers #TeamIndia #CWC19 pic.twitter.com/bHReXVVzbrBCCI (@BCCI) July 2, 2019Bumrah has used the yorker delivery to good effect in the tournament to claim 14 wickets from seven matches with an impressive economy rate of 4.6.His unique release point and accuracy render him nearly unplayable at times and difficult to score off otherwise.NET PRACTICEBumrah, who likes to simulate match situations in the nets, said he did not consider himself a master of the delivery.advertisement”I do it again and again and again in the nets. The more you do it, you get decent at it.”You can’t master it but you still try to get better at it. It’s all about repetition. It’s like the length ball – you have to do it again and again (in the nets) and try and replicate it in the game.”Another aspect of his bowling is to control his aggression according to the requirement of the team, he said.”I try to keep things simple. Reading and analysing the wicket as soon as possible is important. Sometimes you run after wickets, but I focus on team goals – what the team wants me to do right now.”Not chasing success, I want to focus on my process. If I do that, eventually everything gets sorted out.”Qualifying for the semi-finals with a match to spare affords India the luxury of resting their strike bowler for Saturday’s group clash with Sri Lanka but Bumrah does not want to put his feet up.BOOM Boy got no chill – No need for a rest reckons @Jaspritbumrah93 #TeamIndia #CWC19 #BANvIND pic.twitter.com/HPlSRb4yoIBCCI (@BCCI) July 2, 2019″This is my first World Cup so I’d like to play as many games as possible… The more matches you play, the more you enjoy.”Also read | Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya star as India beat Bangladesh to enter semi-finalsAlso Read | What happens to Pakistan if England beat New Zealand? Also Read | India qualify for World Cup semi-finals for 7th timeFor sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports. Google Pixel 4 with thin bezels caught in the wild, again

first_img Shweta Ganjoo New DelhiAugust 12, 2019UPDATED: August 14, 2019 09:02 IST Image Courtesy: Twitter / The Tech TeenHIGHLIGHTSGoogle is likely to launch Pixel 4 in October this year. The Google Pixel 4 has been spotted in the wild again. The Google Pixel 4 will come with thin bezels.Google is expected to launch its premium budget smartphone, the Google Pixel 4, in October this year. Ahead of the official launch of the smartphone, rumours and leaks about Google’s upcoming smartphone have kept everyone excited about the launch event. Last week, a report indicated that the Pixel 4 smartphones would get a 90Hz display. And now, days later the phone has been spotted out in the wild sporting thin bezels. The new image comes as a courtesy of a UK-based blog site, The Tech Teen, which caught the phone on camera while a Google employee had taken the device out for a test run on an airplane. The blog site shared two images, both of which indicate that the Pixel 3 successor will sport thin bezels on the sides and on the bottom while having considerably large bezels on top for housing the front front camera, the Soli radar chip and a bunch of other sensors. The thin chin as seen in the two images could also be owing to the camera angle. As far as the image itself is concerned, the placement of the front camera seems to align with the image of the Pixel 4 shared by Google earlier this month while sharing details about the phone’s face unlock technology and hand gestures. Of course, there is no confirmation from Google in this regard yet.It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the Google Pixel 4 has been spotted out in the open. Prior to this, the Pixel 3 successor has been spotted out in the open twice. Both the times, the device was spotted in London and was covered with a case that conviniently protected the phone’s design. The only give away was the square shaped camera module, which we know will be seen in the iPhone 11 series and the Google Pixel 4 series this year.advertisementAs far as other details are concerned, according to a report by 9To5 Google, the Google Pixel 4 will come with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display and a 2,800mAh battery, while the Pixel 4 XL will come with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ OLED display and a 3,700mAh battery. Both the phones will come with 6GB RAM and a 12MP shooter + a 16MP telephoto lens at the back. They will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and run on Android Q.ALSO READ: | Google Pixel 4 to get 90Hz OLED smooth display, 6GB RAM, 16MP telephoto lens and moreALSO READ: | Google Pixel 4 spotted in public againALSO READ: | Pixel 4 leaks in live photos days after Google confirmed the phoneGet real-time alerts and all the news on your phone with the all-new India Today app. Download from Post your comment Do You Like This Story? Bharat Arun on Jasprit Bumrah’s Antigua heroics: Best spell of fast bowling from an Indian in long time

first_imgBharat Arun on Jasprit Bumrah’s Antigua heroics: Best spell of fast bowling from an Indian in long timeIndia tour of West Indies 2019: Bharat Arun, who has been reappointed as India bowling coach, heaped rich praise on Jasprit Bumrah, saying the India pacer made a minor adjustment to his lengths and that brought him success in the 2nd innings of the Antigua Test against West Indies.advertisement India Today Web Desk JamaicaAugust 29, 2019UPDATED: August 29, 2019 10:43 IST West Indies vs India: Jasprit Bumrah picked up 5 wickets, giving away just 7 runs in the 2nd innings of the Antigua Test (AP Photo)HIGHLIGHTSJasprit Bumrah picked up his 4th 5-wicket haul in the Antigua TestBumrah picked up 5 wickets in his 8-over spell, giving away just 7 runsBharat Arun said Bumrah’s accuracy makes him very potentIndia bowling coach Bharat Arun on Wednesday heaped rich praise on Jasprit Bumrah’s ability to quickly adapt to different situations in Test cricket while revealing what led to his success in the second innings of the Antigua Test match against West Indies.Bharat Arun said Bumrah’s spell in the 2nd innings that reduced West Indies to 50 for 9 was one of the best fast bowling efforts from an Indian pacer in a long time.Jasprit Bumrah picked up only 1 wicket in the first innings after bowling 18 overs but he stepped and picked up his 4th 5-wicket haul in Tests in the second innings. Bumrah finished with figures of 5/7 as India bowled West Indies out for 100 and clinched a 318-run win to begin their World Test Championship campaign in style.Bumrah, as Bharat Arun pointed out, bowled fulled than before and reaped the rewards as he swung the ball both ways to rattle the stumps four times. Bumrah bowled a peach to West Indies captain Jason Holder to make sure there were no late fightbacks from the hosts who are yet to win a match against India in the ongoing tour.”It was the best spell of fast bowling I have seen from an Indian in a long time,” Bharat Arun said on Wednedsay, as quoted by Cricbuzz.”He is bowling consistently at over 140 clicks at any given point of time, and his action is not a very orthodox action. So it takes the batsman a second longer to pick up. Also, he is very accurate which makes him so potent,” Arun added.advertisement”Bumrah is a skilful bowler. He is aware of the situations and he has adjusted himself beautifully to every situation. Even if you see the lengths he bowled in the first and the second innings, it is obviously a lot more different. He has pitched the ball a lot more up and he was getting appreciable movement.”Bharat Arun was reappointed as the bowling coach of the senior national team after the MSK Prasad-led senior selection committee held interviews for the posts of support staff. Arun, who has been key to Indian pace unit’s successive over the last 2 years, pipped the likes of Venkatesh Prasad to retain the job along with Ravi Shastri who has reappointed as the head coach. The focus is on execution and not the outcome: Bharat ArunStressing that his approach to coaching pace bowlers varies with every individual, Bharat Arun said he focussed a lot on understanding “small things” that help them perform better. Arun instantiated his statement by revealing that the discussion that he had with Bumrah after the first innings of the Antigua Test was about the pacer’s lengths.”We look at the bowling as per the execution, not the outcome. The wickets are the outcome, I’m not looking at the outcome at all,” Bharat Arun said.He added: “Even after the first innings, what we spoke about was the execution. It was a bit short and with his bowling, he needs to bowl up. Wickets were never the question. If you bowl the right lengths, you will get the wickets. Bumrah is quite aware of that. And it was just the momentary shift in lengths.”Every bowler is different. My interaction with every bowler is also very different from one another. It is so important to know the mindsets of the bowlers. Once you are, as a coach, aware of the mindsets of the bowlers, it is easier for us to give the right treatment,” Bharat Arun added.Buyoyed by the performance of their bowling unit, India will be looking to complete a clean sweep of the 2-Test series when they face the West Indies in Jamaica from Friday.Notably, India will retain their place at the top of World Test Championship table if they managed to win another 60 points in the 2nd Test. Virat Kohli’s men have been spotless in the ongoing tour of West Indies as the hosts are yet to win a match. West Indies were beaten 3-0 in T20Is and 2-0 in ODIs before they lost the 1st Test in Antigua. Also Read | India vs West Indies: Virat Kohli’s men attend official team dinner ahead of Jamaica TestAlso Read | India vs South Africa: MS Dhoni unavailable for T20I seriesAlso See:For sports news, updates, live scores and cricket fixtures, log on to indiatoday.in/sports. Hubble: Daily contacts for half the price

first_img Learn Guitar (and Don’t Give Up) With the Fender Play App The Custom Indian x Traeger Motorcycle Features a Legit Barbecue Grill Sidecar Ride Out the Apocalypse With the 1,000-Horsepower Rezvani Tank X SUV Editors’ Recommendations Banksy’s Gross Domestic Product Is a Pop-Up Shop Unlike Any Other Your New Favorite Pair of Go-to Leather Shoes Just Got More Affordable Those of you who wear contact lenses know all too well about the nuisance they can be.Sometimes we get a little lazy and forget to take them out. Other times we’ll wear them a lot longer than we’re supposed to just because. That protein gets caked on, and before you know it, you have an eye infection on the horizon. Ideally, we’d wear daily contact lenses and just chuck them into the garbage, but they’re expensive. They can cost more than a dollar a day, ranging from $480 to $720 annually.Ben Cogan, a veteran of Harry’s, one of our favorite direct-to-order razor companies, was onto something when he realized two years ago that he either had to spend money or keep on wearing his remaining lenses in order to save money. “I knew there had to be a better, more efficient way to to get lenses, and I knew I wasn’t facing this problem on my own,” said Cogan. With proper research he realized that there are only four contact lense manufacturers that control 95 percent of the market, while there were over 40 million contact lenses users in the United States, so he took the same approach that Harry’s did, cut out the middleman, and created Hubble, a new brand of disposable daily contact lenses that you can buy for $300 a year, half the price of the average cost of disposable dailies. Still wary of trying them out? They’ll even give you your first box for free to show you just how easy it is.I tried it myself. All I had to do was enter my prescription and the next day, I had a box of contacts at my door. Not bad at all. I’ve worn them on several occasions, and they’re just as good as the other contact lenses — I won’t out those brands, you know what they are — that cost twice as much. It’s as easy and simple as that. So ditch your biweekly contacts. Ditch your dailies. Save yourself some money and get something nice. Switch to Hubble. We promise you won’t regret it.For more information, visit hubblecontacts.comlast_img read more
